The MFL Bake Off took place on Thursday 3rd October. This was part of our European Day of Languages celebrations. Students baked traditional European cakes or they decorated cakes with different European designs. We had a huge amount of entries and the level of baking and decorating was very high. Students had worked so hard on their creations! The cakes were judged by a panel of cake eating experts who picked the winners!
The winners are:
A huge well done to everyone who took part, the cakes were amazing! We held a cake sale at break and the money raised (£162) is going to help support Olivia Seville’s expedition to Cambodia. A special thank you to Luis Eden for helping to organise the event and lending his expertise to the judging panel. Also, thank you to the Year 10 students who ran the cake sale and to Mr Darlington, our Chair of Governors, who donated an extra prize. All students who either entered the Bake Off or helped with the organisation have been given Boost Reward Stars. Thank you for all of your huge efforts!
