The maths department have created some resources to support our parents and carers with their numeracy. We hope you enjoy watching the videos, taking part in some maths and hopefully gaining something from it. Once you have completed the course, we ask that you could complete the short quiz at the end and then we will send you a well-earned certificate to congratulate you for completing it.

Before you start the videos, we encourage you to visit the National Numeracy website via this link https://www.nationalnumeracy.org.uk/improve-your-maths This is a free website which allows you to quickly check your everyday maths knowledge and improve your numeracy skills. The challenge is a short 10 minute quiz which checks your strengths and weaknesses then give you ways to improve your confidence with number. All of this content and all of the course we have produced focusses on everyday life skills such as calculating percentages or working with measurements. The National Numeracy website also produces certificates for you which you can print.
